Ron began diving 30 years ago following the passion of his father. Growing up in Massachusetts he took advantage of every opportunity to improve upon his diving technics up and down the east coast. Diving heavily at first but, like many, had to abandon his pursuits to start a family. When his daughter wanted to try diving on a trip to Turks and Caicos, Ron found an excuse to renew his passion. He quickly earned his PADI Divemaster rating and advanced on to Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor and now Master Scuba Diver Trainer. You will rarely see him out of his drysuit!
Ron is very active in the non-diving community as well. He sits on his local school board, rotary, and several other charitable organizations, he believes in giving back to his community.
Ron’s favorite courses to teach are Drysuit, Deep diver, Peak performance and Enriched Air Nitrox. With a new pursuit of side-mount and advance nitrox. He is also a TDI Semi-Closed Rebreather Diver on the Hollis Explorer.
Carl came to the shop in 2013 after moving back to Pittsburgh. He earned his Rescue Diver certification that year and dove heavily with us. The following year he and Ron worked together to earn their Divemaster ratings and in 2015 became Assistant Instructors together. Carl is currently working on his Instructor credential where we know his big personality will be a huge asset.
Our newest Assistant Instructor, Carl works and manages the shop here at Inland Dive Center. When he’s not helping at the pool or lake, you can find Carl behind the counter or in the workshop helping to keep things running smoothly.
Neil started his career in diving in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008. It started with one certification, Open Water Diver with PADI. He was hooked after the open water course was finished. The wild ride started, and continues to this day, He became a card collector. He is involved in scuba diving in a variety of ways, a member of MAST (Maritime Archeology Survey Team), ScubaFest, Steel City Divers.
Neil has been to several diving sites, and logged over 175 dives. He can be found a lot of the time at White Star Quarry in Ohio. If you ever get a chance to go, let Neil know, he will probably want to join you. He has also been to other places though and the next runner up would be Bonaire, a true diver’s paradise. Neil is also qualified to teach the Emergency Oxygen Provider, Enriched Air, Deep, and Wreck Diver courses.
Amanda became certified with our shop back in 2013 and has been diving with us since. She's traveled with the shop to the Bahamas to stay on a liveaboard, to Bonaire for a week of shore diving, and to Lake Erie and all of the local quarries. On her own, she has been diving all along the East Coast and in Mexico.
She and Carl are the proud parents of Max, who made his scuba diving debut (unbeknownst to his parents) in his mother's belly in Bonaire in November of 2016. Max has three German Shepherd protectors, Elsa, Freddy and Hank.

Along with her many other pursuits (including, but not limited to, Firefighting, Flying, Rappelling, and camping) Renee is an avid diver. She is not only another one of us who ‘caught the bug’, she caught it diving lakes and quarries. In all the years she has been diving, it wasn’t until Nov 2011 that Renee completed her first ocean dives in Key Largo, FL. Renee completed her Divemaster training with the shop in 2009. She and her sister Rita join us for a lot of our local excursions, especially Gilboa, a favorite of many!
McKenna, daughter of Ron and Andrea Pasic, started her diving adventure at the age of 12. It was a discovery scuba program at Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos that she did with her dad that sparked her interest. Not long after, she obtained her Open Water certification as well as her Advanced Open Water certification. She plans on furthering her knowledge and following in her dads footsteps to become a PADI DiveMaster and hopefully one day an instructor to teach others to love diving as much as she does.
Outside of diving McKenna works hard at school and plans on attending Duquesne University to study Biology Pre-Med and one day attend Medical School to become a pediatric anesthesiologist. In her spare time McKenna enjoys skiing, especially at Killington (her favorite mountain), and cheering on the varsity cheer team at her high school. She also enjoys wake boarding, hunting and fishing. Definitely the outdoors type! She also works part time down in the shop and is always sure to have her puppy sidekick, Cooper, with her.
Mara began diving at the age of 12 and has logged a number of recreational dives in local hot spots, Florida, and Mexico.
In addition to being part of the Inland Dive team, Mara is a full time Nursing student at Robert Morris University and a ski instructor at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in the winter months.
Andrea is one of our owners here at the shop. She works alongside Ron and Dean and is down at the shop just about every day of the week. Though she is not an avid diver herself, she loves to tag along to all the events and take plenty of photographs of the excitement! Outside of the dive world, Andrea is a full time mom to McKenna and loves to spend time with her family. Whether it be relaxing on the beaches of Turks and Caicos or skiing down the slopes of Loon Mountain she is always sure to be having fun.
Dean began diving 7 years ago when his then 12 year old daughter, Mara, wanted to start diving and he has been an active recreational diver since.
He is active in other sports such as snow skiing and golf and you can find him at Seven Springs or a number of resorts out west in the winter months.
